  • Are the boats and train accessible?
    Only the boats are accessible and accommodation needs can be indicated during the ticket purchase process.
  • What if the event is cancelled?
    In the unfortunate circumstance that the event is cancelled; tickets will be refunded to original method of payment all money paid. Please note scheduled departures are subject to change or be cancelled.
  • What are the best nights to tour Christmas on the Pecos?
    The lights are beautiful every night! Tickets always sell out fast for weekend nights, as well as weekdays during the final two weeks of December. Reservations are required so book now!
  • Are children required to wear a life vest?
    Yes, in accordance with the New Mexico State Boating Regulations, all passengers 12 years of age and under are required to wear a life vest while the vessel is in motion. Life vests will be provided by the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce. In an effort to protect the health and safety of our employees we highly encourage all parties to bring their own CLASS II Personal Flotation Device for lap riders. Please note if your PFD is not a CLASS II you will be required to use a life vest available at the event.
  • Do I need to print my ticket?
    Proof of Purchase is required in the ticket office to obtain your boarding pass. Printed ticket or on your phone will both work.
  • When should I arrive for my scheduled departure?
    Passengers must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to boarding but it is highly recommended that you arrive earlier. Crafts, drinks and food are available at the Pecos River Christmas Village to enjoy before your departure.
  • What kind of clothes should I wear?
    Christmas on the Pecos is an evening outdoor water event and the air is chilly. Jackets, hoodies, gloves, scarves and layers of clothing are encouraged. You may also purchase outdoor apparel including exclusive Christmas on the Pecos embellished blankets, hoodies and beanies while you shop at the Christmas Village!
  • Covid Guidelines
    Christmas on the Pecos follows NM Covid mandates. We are NM Safe Certified.
  • Are animals allowed?
    Only animals allowed are service animals.
